In regards to the U.S. Immigration & Nationality Law
practice, we advise clientele in the processing of both
nonimmigrant (temporary), as well as immigrant
(permanent) residency immigration matters. More
specifically, with regards to immigrant petitions, we
serve as immigration counsel in matters which include,
among others, regular PERM Labor Certification
Applications, Special Handling PERM Labor Certifications
for tenure-track professorial positions, Outstanding
Professor/Researcher Petitions, Advanced Degree
Professionals (Employment-Based, Second Preference)
filings, Skilled Worker (Employment-Based, Third
Preference) filings, as well as National Interest Waiver
Petitions.
Where temporary presence is required, the Firm regularly
prepares and submits H-1B Petitions for specialized
occupation professionals (including medical residents,
physicians, engineers, and IT professionals, just to
name a few), O-1 Petitions for Individuals with
Extraordinary Ability, E-3 Petitions for Australian
nationals working in specialty occupations, TN Petitions
under the North American Free Trade Agreement (“NAFTA”),
as well as Business Visitor (B-1) documentation for
incoming lecturers receiving honoraria payments and
other business professionals. Among others, we advise
and prepare documentation in connection with F-1
Optional Practical Training issues, F-1 Reinstatements,
as well as necessary documentation needed in furtherance
of facilitating the processing of immigrant and
nonimmigrant visas through U.S. consulates/embassies
abroad.
We also prepare and submit highly complex immigration
requests which include: Motions to Reopen and Reconsider
and Nunc-Pro-Tunc requests to the U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services, as well as appeals to the
Administrative Appeals Office and the Board of Alien
Labor Certification Appeals.
For those foreign based clientele who seek to expand
their business to the U.S., as part of our Treaty Law
practice, in addition to the L-1 category, we prepare
and submit E-2 Investor Petitions which enable qualified
foreign nationals to establish business operations in
the U.S.
As part of our U.S. Business Law practice, we also
provide various legal services in areas of Corporate
Agreements, Employment/Non-compete Agreements, I-9/IRCA
Compliance and Audits, Merger & Acquisition, as well as
Incorporation matters.
As part of our global practice, our Indian office
assists clientele in Real Estate, Contract, Arbitration,
